HEAD JUDGE

Sythen
Salt Lake City, UT
Sythen - Ms. RMOL 2010

Sythen has been an active member of the BDSM and Leather community, regionally and nationally, since 2007.  She is heavily involved in her local community and has given much of her passion and time into its structure and functions.

She graduated from Leather Quest in 2009, as well as the  Wasatch Academy for the Refinement of Ladies and Gentlemen of Leather in 2011.  She was awarded the Ms. RMOL 2010 title, as well as 1st Runner Up for Ms. International Olympus Leather 2010.

Sythen has instructed for local SLC, UT groups (The Path, UPEX, Wasatch Academy for the Refinement of Ladies and Gentlemen of Leather and Leather Quest) the Boise BDSM Society (Boise, ID) as well as Foundations in San Francisco, CA.  She desires to travel, meeting other communities and present workshops nationally.

She has held numerous volunteer positions within the community and helps to raise funds for various charity organizations through her volunteer work with kink themed events.  Sythen is a former Head Master for The Path.

She is honored to be Head Judge for this year's event.


CONTEST JUDGES

Brian Conway
Denver, CO
Brian Conway, now 44 years old, has been involved in the BDSM lifestyle for the past 26 years---since he was only 17 years old.  He is the co-owner/producer of the Thunder in the Mountains leather event now in it’s 16th year  in Denver, CO., and sole producer of the Rocky Mountain Leather SIR/boy and Community Bootblack contest also held in Denver on the same weekend in July.  Brian has been a member of several local BDSM groups in Colorado, as well as a past member of the Chicago Hellfire Club.  He is the founder of the Rubbermen of Colorado group, whose goal is to bring new rubber kinksters into the rubber/kink lifestyle as well as helping to introduce new men into the BDSM scene, to help encourage that he also runs rubber play parties every other month.  Brian also produces the long running Denver Gay Leathermen’s Dinner which brings together all the local gay leathermen for a formal dinner and good conversation.  As an offshoot he also created a similar community wide Colorado Community Leather Dinner event for everyone of every sexual orientation as a means for all leather people to socialize and visit with each other in a non-sexual setting.  Brian has been employed for many years as a database administrator for a large, nationally known communications company.  He continues to reside in his home in Denver with his husband Rich Dockter and their 3 male Sharpeis.


Nova
Salt Lake City, UT

Nova discovered the BDSM & Leather community in 2007. She graduated from Journey in 2012 and is currently a Leather Quest Cadet.

Nova won RMOL 2012 and went onto win International Ms. Olympus Leather 2012. Nova represented the IOL title SLC & SF Pride Parade 2012 and went onto support other titles at ILSb & community BootBlack 2012, SW Master/slave 2013 & SW Bootblack 2013, was in attendance at Dore Alley 2012, judged GPOL 2012. 

Nova has instructed local SLC group, The Path. She believes that teaching others about what brings us Joy can help them on their own path to finding their authentic self.

Nova is also an artist of many mediums which often shows up in her play. She loves hugs and is a no bull shit type person.

In March Nova is attending SWOL 2013, judge at RMOL 2013, and shortly thereafter attending IMsL & IMsBB 2013. 


Ras
Salt Lake City, UT

As Mr. Rocky Mountain Olympus Leather 2012 Ras has been traveling to many Leather and BDSM events to promote the Leather Lifestyle, the principles of SSC, and to strengthen the wider Leather community. As a pansexual Leatherman, Ras has worked through his title year to build and strengthen the bonds between all segments of the Leather, Kink, and Fetish communities.

Ras is currently the leader of Salt Lake City’s TNG group, and involved in planning munches, classes, and workshops designed to  help new people find their way into the local community.  They focus on teaching the basics of Safe, Sane, and Consensual play, with an emphasis on negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Ras has completed LeatherQuest Salt Lake City, a rigorous two year long education experience focused on BDSM skills, Leather history and traditions, and personal growth, while honoring the tradition of earned leather, community service, BDSM education, and spirituality.
Ras has taught classes and workshops in Salt Lake for The Path, and TNG, as well as the Boise BDSM Society, Foundations in San Francisco, the Center For Sex Positive Culture in Seattle, and for the Indiana Masters and Slaves Beat My Valentine convention.


Robyn
Indianapolis, IN

robyn is a native of Indianapolis Indiana where she was Ms. Great Lakes Olympus Leather 2011, and 1st Runner-up in the 2012 International Ms. Olympus Leather Contest in Los Angeles, California. Involved in the leather, kink, and bdsm community for the past 12 years, she can regularly be found attending events and leather contests.  robyn has had the honor to judge contests all over the country and teaches on bondage and relationship topics regularly.  Professionally, robyn is a social worker and counselor by trade specializing in mental illness, substance abuse, and women’s issues. She also works in her profession to educate other mental health practitioners about leather, kink, and bdsm topics so that they can better serve their clients. In her spare time, robyn can be found traveling as often as she can, riding horses and  surrounding herself with the great friends that she has made in this community.




Master Tallen

International Mr. Olympus Leather 2011
Master Tallen came into the Master/slave lifestyle in 1997 as a slave. He began his evolution into Mastery in early 2002 and is proud of where his journey has taken him. He has experienced a lot on both sides, and with the help of many, has been exposed to numerous perspectives.  He enjoys sharing his experiences with others and trying to help them find their own paths. He has presented classes and judged Leather Contests all over the U.S. and beyond.
Currently Master Tallen is an owner of Great Plains Olympus Leather Contest, is the Executive Producer of International Puppy and Trainer Contest, and is on the Board of Regents of Leathermens’ Academy.  He is a Member of NLA Dallas, DPEX, and MAsT.
In 2005, he created the Master/slave Flag.  In 2008 he won the Leather title as Northeast Master.  In 2011 he became Mr. Great Plains Olympus Leather, and subsequently was honored to be selected as International Mr. Olympus Leather 2011.
He loves sharing what he has experienced as well hearing from others. He is also honored to have received many Pantheon of Leather nominations over the years. But the most rewarding thing of all has been the countless number of people he has helped along in their own journeys. Their successes, and words of thanks to him, mean more than anything.




Boy darin
Ogden, UT
Boy darin is honored to be judging RMOL. He is 41 years old and is the Event Manager at the Dee Events Center at Weber State University. Planning and executing events are his passion. Boy darin has been with Weber State for 17 years.

Boy darin has been in the leather/bdsm community for over 15 years and was selected to be the 2012 Rocky Mountain Leatherboy for RMLSb/CBB. Though he did not place at ILSb/CBB but he was awarded the John Siracusa Golden Paddle Award. Last year boy darin was nominated for the Pantheon of Leather Rocky Mountain Region Award. Boy darin is the Co-Founder and Secretary for the Wasatch Men & boys of Leather, a local leather club in Utah.

Boy darin is currently an Associate Member of the Denver boys of Leather and the Central Florida Boys of Leather and a Friend/Brother to the Phoenix boys of Leather and the Windy City Boys Troop.

Boy darin’s goals are to continue to grow WaMboL, the The 4 Corners Boys (boys from WaMboL, Dbol, Abol, and Pbol), bring together a collation of clubs in the Southwest, similar to that of SECC. Future plans are to work with RMLSb/CBB to create and maintain a Utah Leather Sir/boy contest and to hopefully start work on a project to bring back Mr. Utah Leather.
